A call for anarchists’ participation in the protest rally in Cologne-Germany, August 12, 2023

The Taliban is establishing a government through stoning and executions, imprisoning women within houses and prisons, occupying and dispossessing farmers’ lands, and inspiring terror by torturing and displaying hanged bodies on the streets.

And in different ways, many governments of the region and the world contribute to the formation of this government.

But everywhere, there are Afghanistan women who stand against this trend. They are standing against the establishment of the Taliban government.

And although this is not an entirely anti-government action, it is not far from it.

Thus, our call to anarchists (in Cologne and neighboring cities) is to attend the protest rally on August 12 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM as well as the “Week of Solidarity with the People of Afghanistan” from August 12 to 20th, organized in various countries against the Taliban and in solidarity with the women of Afghanistan movement.
