NEVER AGAIN KRISTALLNACHT!

On the night of 9th November 1938 – “Kristallnacht” – was the start of a terrible violence against Jews, communists, Roma people (“Gypsy” is a demeaning word), homosexuals and … in Nazi Germany. A terrible cruelty, where several million of these people were abused, murdered, and sent to concentration camps. Jewish homes, shops, and synagogues were burned and destroyed. This night, i.e., “The start of the Holocaust” was named after the broken glass that covered the streets.

Similar Nazi and anti-Jewish thinking in that time have gradually increased again worldwide.

Today, the world’s blinkers are directed at the Israeli state’s oppressive and occupation power against the people of Palestine (since 1948) and right now at the Gaza Strip.

Let us remember that one of the main factors of these violences against each other is the existence of the “state-nation” system of various kinds as the source of evil and authoritarianism. The confederalist-democratic system and a stateless society could be a good solution, especially in today’s Middle East.
