Ismail Bakhshi’s torture is once more a deep wound on the portrait of human society

To people of the world, amnesty international and labor organizations

In a letter to the Islamic Republic authorities, Ismail Bakhshi has protested about his brutal torture during his detention and he has challenged these authorities, to debate on national TV with the Minister of Information, who is responsible for such these barbaric measures

Ismail Bakhshi’s courageous disclosure about his brutal torture whilst in custody has quickly spread on media coverage and it has gained a wave of support and solidarity by labor organizations, political and civil activists, students and teachers, in and outside of Iran

Now, the intelligence officials are pressuring Ismail Bakshi and his family to prevent them from continuing their disclosures. They accused Ismail Bakhshi of spreading lies and intend to charge him with the new accusations

The torture issue in the Islamic Republic is not a new phenomenon, but it dates back to 1979, right after the Revolution and the establishment of the new ruling class – clergy regime. For nearly 40 year, the torture of freedom fighters, egalitarians, intellectuals and artists has been recorded in the filthy file of the ruling class

The shadow of death, torture, psychological and mental pressures have always been with detainees, political prisoners and prisoners of conscience and tens of thousands of victims have been the achievement of the Islamic Republic for Iranian people

Without doubt, the vast disclosure of international protests against the brutal acts of the Islamic Republic, can force the regime and its security apparatus to help Ismail Bakhshi, Spideh Gholian, Ali Nejati and other supporters of political prisoners and labor activists

We, the political, social and cultural activists, strongly condemn the torture of Ismail Bakhshi and other political prisoners, prisoners of conscience, labor activists, students and teachers and consider ourselves alongside of Ismail Bkhshi and his fellow supporters

We call on all conscious human beings of the international community to protest, condemn and to pressure the Islamic Republic’s authorities against the torture issue throughout prisons in Iran
