Anarchist Union of Iran and Afghanistan support the campaign and demands of Lebanese people and anarchists

Protestors, who took to the streets of Lebanon on October 17 have protested for 10 days expressing their opposition to religious and sectarian splits in the country, formed a human chain from Tripoli to Tyre—about 170 km long—and passed through the city of Beirut, the main centre of the protests

The Lebanese protest movement, which has no clear leadership, is very similar to the ten day long Iran protests that happened across 160 cities on December 28, 2017 (7 Dey 1396)

Calls for the dismissal of the whole ruling class in Lebanon, a class that has remained almost unchanged over the past three decades, is a valid and basic demand

In Lebanon, many powerful politicians are the same former warlords who represent one of the religious sects or political groups in the country. Protestors recognize these people as truly corrupt and incompetent

It should not be forgotten that at the top of the corrupt and incompetent rulers is Hassan Nasrallah, who is affiliated with the Islamic Republic of Iran and is its servant and devotee

Like we wrote eight days ago, the Anarchist Union of Iran and Afghanistan supports the demonstrations of the Lebanese people against the government and Hezbollah

And we once again emphasize our full support for the Lebanese people’s struggles, and we find ourselves standing side by in the fight for their rights
