In defense of the political prisoners and a condemnation of the capitalist Islamic regime in Iran

Every two years, a world-wide forum is held with former political prisoners and rights defenders of current political prisoners. The eighth World Forum will be held this year between September 13th and 15th in Gothenburg, with participants from various European countries as well as Canada and the United States. The idea of the forum is to remember all those who have been executed during the four decades by the capitalist Islamic regime. But also to discuss the current situation in Iran, especially after the workers‘ uprising in January 2017, and the mass remnants of activists in the country: workers, women, young people, intellectuals; all of which demanded justice and changes and which the regime responded by condemning the working people to heavy prison sentences

In conjunction with the Eighth World Forum, a standing protest action against the sentences will be held for a total of one hundred years in prison for the prosecuted sugar cane workers in Haft-Tappeh in Ahwaz, in southwestern Iran, but also in memory and defense of the Iranian political prisoners, and the fighting the factory workers at Hepco and Azarab
