First Statement — April 30, 2025

It has been nearly sixteen years since we first set foot on this path, a journey marked by many highs and lows.
Our initial anarchist self-organizing collective was formed on August 15, 2009, outside the borders of Iran, under the name “Voice of Anarchism.”
From 2011 to 2014, we underwent a process of reorganization and continued our activities under the name “Anarchist Network.”
The website “Asr-e Anarshism” (The Era of Anarchism) began its work in 2013 and continued under the same name from mid-2014 onward.
After comrades from Afghanistan joined us in 2015, we unified all activities under what became the Asr-e Anarshism Collective.

In 2018, alongside the Asr-e Anarshism Collective and two other anarchist groups (one based in Iran and another in Afghanistan), we succeeded in founding the Union of Anarchists of Afghanistan and Iran.

Eventually, the joining of new comrades led to the formation of the Federation of Asr-e Anarshism in 2020.
Now, the time has come for change—a renewed phase of self-organization.
Due to structural and organizational transformation, from now on, we will continue our struggle under a new name that reflects our current strength and organizational form. Together with our new comrades, we will reorganize once again, remain united, and carry on the anarchist struggle under the name:
